So recently Nintendo released a video showing Shulk is included in the new Super Smash Brothers game. This character comes from the game Xenoblade Chronicles and uses a giant sword for combat called the Monodo.
Honestly I’m a little surprised by this choice because it raises the number of Non Nintendo characters in the game to four along with Megaman, Pacman, and Sonic. I’m pretty excited about this though because I was a huge fan of him in Xenoblade Chronicles. His powers are pretty interesting with his foresight ability modified into a counter and his Monodo Powers make him an interesting character with abilities to Jump, Shield, increase his Speed and power. He’s not a character you want to just jump in and fight with, but rather a character to use to adapt to the fighting.
